Wedding Guest Book Wishing Tree
Looking for a fun, unique, and "green" alternative to the guest book? Try a wishing tree! Have your florist find you a miniature tree or create a branch sculpture and let guests write their sentiments on a small tag and tie it to the individual branches. This is a great way for all your guests to leave their best wishes and love advice. Even your littlest ring bearer and flower girl guests can scribble something. When the reception is over you have a lovely stack of tags to bind into a small book or tuck into the end pages of your wedding album.

I love this idea - I'm planning to use something similar to this for my wedding and am trying to figure out what to say on the sign to go by the tree (the instruction for people about leaving a note). What did yours say?
ReplyDeleteThe sign for this bride and groom said
ReplyDelete"Please tie your wishes on the tree for Dana and Michael."
Or you could say something like "Please write a wish for Dana and Michael and tie it onto the tree." Or "Send warms wishes to the bride and groom. Please sign a tag and tie it to the tree."
Either way, this type of guest book is sure to be a hit with your guests. Everyone at this wedding loved it!
