Real Wedding Shirley wearing Bride's Head Revisited

Our lovely bride, Shirley looked so calm and relaxed on her wedding day.  Held at Camp Wandawega in Wisconsin, Shirley and Edward gave their guests an experience they would never forget. Everyone enjoyed the non-traditional space while enjoying a wedding that was simply beautiful.  Her beautiful French Tulle bird cage veil was made by Bride's Head Revisted and purchased at The Left Bank Jewelry & Bridal Finery in Chicago.  It accented her dress wonderfully. These soft, luxe French tulle veils lay beautifully against any bride's face and stays perfectly in place vs. the much stiffer Russian tulle bird cage veils which need to be pinned in place.  Her delicate belt, called Jessamine is a versatile piece. It can be worn as a belt, like Shirley is wearing, or can be a headpiece or even a choker.  After the wedding, you can simply change the ribbon to a different color and wear it for any special occasion.  Come see the Bride's Head Revisted Road Show at The Left Bank on March 23rd -25th.
Their creations are inspired by vintage romantic fashions and delicate glamour.

Thinking of green wedding shoes?  Our recent bride Rachel did a brilliant job of selecting this perfect vintage inspired pair of shoes called "Cinnamon" from the Pink Paradox London collection. It's a 2-1/4" lo heeled wedding shoe with a gorgeous brooch embellishment.  We custom dyed this shoe to match the ribbon on her dress and it they came out perfect!

A Modern Bride at Room 1520 in Chicago

Our wonderful bride, Lauren looked timeless on her wedding day. From the moment she had our signature French Tulle bird cage veil placed in her hair she was just glowing. We love how she tucked her bird cage veil in back of her head post-ceremony too, such a nice finish with her modern and elegant gown.  Her bouquet of calla lillies was so exquisite and complimented her gown and style perfectly.  Rick Aguilar Studios captured all the tender moments the couple shared with one another at their wedding at the chic urban space at Room 1520 in Chicago. If you're looking for the perfect bird cage veil, come to our trunk show March 24-25th, featuring the gorgeous creations of Bride's Head Revisited.  www.BridesheadRevisited.net

Looking for an sparkling cuff to wear on your wedding?  Take a cue from the 2012 Oscars red carpet which showed shades of old Hollywood glamour in side swept hair, dazzling white and shimmering gold and silver, lots of bling and bold wide cuffs. Gwyneth Paltrow, wore an incredible white Tom Ford gown that epitomized the mix of old Hollywood and new, a modern incarnation of Jacqueline Kennedy.  Her only bijoux?   A bold cuff bracelet which added more drama and glamour.   This look has been trending in bridal for the past couple of years and it  just keeps getting stronger.

A Wedding Planner's Wedding at The Pennisula in Chicago

Intimacy and Elegance abound at The Wedding of Ana and Abe at The Pennisula Hotel As Featured in www.StrictlyWeddings.com

Ana & Abe met in sunny Miami through her roommate. "He was friends with my roommate’s boyfriend at the time. My roommate had called me to go out with the three of them on a Wednesday night in February and she had to convince me because it was too cold outside. It was 60F outside! That was cold for me back then! I ended up going out, we had a great time and the rest is history,” noted Ana Cristina. “Abraham proposed over dinner in a very simple but beautiful way. He told me we were meeting a friend when in reality it was just the two of us. I was totally surprised.”

It was easy for Ana Cristina to choose vendors and logistics for her wedding since she is a Chicago event planner and owner of Deseo Events. “I think I went through the same nervousness that any other bride goes through on her wedding day. Kelly Cavanaugh from Clementine Events was my day of coordinator and she helped me so much in dealing with last minute stress!” said Ana Cristina. “I cannot imagine how brides do it without a wedding planner. I know I couldn’t have done it without my experience and confidence in the industry.”

“I didn’t want a ballroom, I wanted something different, but it was important the place was cozy because we wanted our families to get to know each other better. We looked at the available venues and when we went to The Peninsula we thought it was perfect. It is a ballroom, but it is cozy, elegant, it has beautiful windows over-looking Michigan Ave., the size, location and everything was perfect. The terrace for cocktails is to die for. There was a hold on the date and it was the only date available for the year! We had to wait for the hold to be released,” noted Ana Cristina.

“My favorite memory from my wedding day… You’ve heard this before but it is truly to have everyone you love with you. LOVE the DJ and the food. The service at The Peninsula was immaculate too, left a great flavor in my mouth. I stayed the night before the wedding day and the staff would call me Miss. Aguirre the day before the wedding and Mrs. Joseph the day after. Cute, right?” said Ana Cristina.
