New Orleans Wedding - Suzanne

Suzanne's New Orleans wedding was a perfect blend of southern charm and quintessentially French touches, from her gorgeous bouquet of French anemones to a classic croquembouche cake. And of course, what better place than Louisiana to hold a tres chic southern style affair? Brocato Photojournalism did an amazing job of capturing this beautiful wedding...and it doesn't hurt that Suzanne is gorgeous, either. She looks very much the southern belle, n'est c'est pas?

Celebrity Inspiration: Natalie Portman's Understated Big Sur Wedding

Natalie Portman's recent nuptials to dancer Benjamin Millepied were a wonderful nod to her Jewish faith and his French nationality. Natalie Portman isn't really the type of celebrity to splash her wedding on the cover of every other tabloid, so details on her big day are somewhat sparse -- but the few we do have sound absolutely lovely.

The couple married in Big Sur, California surrounded by friends and family (including Ivanka Trump and Macauly Culkin). The 45-minute ceremony featured oceanside views, a chuppah made of twigs and of course Millepied stomping on a glass to cheers of "Mazel tov!" The couple served a vegan menu (in accordance with Portman's diet) and chose French macarons in lieu of a traditional wedding cake. Guests took home wildflower seed packets as favors adorned with a "Merci" from the new couple.

Real Wedding: Ashley + James

From the downtown Hotel Monaco location to the wonderful photo shoot on the Kenzie Street Bridge, Ashley and James' wedding just screams Chicago -- despite the fact that neither one is a Windy City native. Ashley is originally from Austin, Texas while James calls Wisconsin home, but the two knew a Chicago wedding would be the perfect location to bring their cross-country families together. Ashley's amazing eye for style and design is evident in every aspect of her wedding, and photographer Lorenzo de Gregorio did an amazing job of capturing every detail.
